Application
Self-acting valve preventing from reflux of
transported medium. It is used mainly for
drinking and industrial water or other non-
aggressive liquids for working pressures and
temperatures:
Swing check valve is not a shut-off valve. If
tightness is required, shut-off valve must be
also inserted into the pipeline.
Technical description
Swing check valve is flangeless. Working
medium opens the flexible disc. Disc is
pushed away by the flow of medium. Flexible
disc is pushed into the body sealing surface
during the reverse flow. Connection
Face-to-face dimensions as per DIN 3202-3,
K3. Connecting dimensions are designed for
fitting between pipeline flanges PN 6, 10, 16
as per ČSN 131060 (DIN2501) using
connecting elements and gaskets.

Body, bonnet cast iron (GG-20)
Closing element rubber, rubber-lined steel
Gasket asbestos-free Testing
Swing check valve is tested as per DIN 3230,
(ČSN 133060, part 2).
Installation
Valve can be installed in any position,
providing medium flow is as per the arrow on
the body. Into horizontal pipeline must be
mounted with internal cross-piece in a vertical
position.
Control
Self-acting by the pressure of working
medium on the valve disc which in the closed
position avoids reverse flow of medium.
