Application
Self-acting outlet valve preventing pipeline
from intrusion of impurities, animals or
pipeline flooding during liquid level rising at
outlet side. It is used mainly for water or other
non-aggressive liquids for working pressures
and temperatures:
Swing check valve is not a shut-off valve. If
tightness is required, shut-off valve must be
also inserted into the pipeline.
Technical description
Outlet swing check valve is a casting with
inclined sealing surface. The disc swings on a
hinge pin and has a lever with counterweight,
which can be adjusted to set the opening
differential pressure. The pressure of the
outlet sewage water pushes open the valve. Connection
Flange dimensions are as per ČSN 131060
and DIN 2501 (ČSN 131061) for PN 10.
Flange faces for PN 10 are as per DIN 2526,
Form C. Basic connecting dimensions are
given in the table.

Swing check valve is tested as per DIN 3230,
(ČSN 133060, part 2).
Installation
Valve shall be installed into horizontal or
slightly inclined pipeline, the pin and
counterweight must be upwards.
Control
Self-acting by the pressure of working
medium on the valve disc.
