The throttle valve cannot be used as a shut-off
valve.
Technical description
Regulating valve is a welded, flanged valve
with a flat flanges. The throttling disc rotates
on a central shaft placed in the sliding
bushings. When the valve is closed there is a
gap between the disc and body. The angle of
the disc turn is 90°. The position indicator
shows the disc position. The disc can be
secured in position by means of a wing nut
(only for throttle valves with operating lever).
Connection
Flanged connection as per DIN 2501 for DN
2,5. Basic connecting dimensions are given in
the table.

Testing
Swing check valve is tested as per DIN 3230,
(ČSN 133060, part 2). Installation
The throttle valve can be installed into
horizontal or vertical pipeline. It is necessary
to state in a purchase order the intention to
install the valve into vertical pipeline. It is
necessary to check the actuators function
from time to time if the actuators are used. Control
Valves can be controlled either by means of
lever (from DN 700 up to DN 1200) with a
position fixation, chain-wheel or electric
servo-motor.
