Application
Shut-off valve for easily hardening media (tar,
paraffin, naphtalene) for the following service
pressures and temperatures:
Body heating can be done by steam, hot water
or oil with working overpressure of 0,4 MPa,
max. service temperature of 150°C.
Technical description
Sealing plug is drawn into the body by a gland
follower. Compression screw is used for
accurate adjustment of plug position or for
plug lifting. The body has a heating jacket
with four ports for inlet and removal of
heating medium.

Flange connecting dimensions as per
ČSN 13 1060 and ČSN 13 1061.
Basic connecting and face-to-face dimensions
are given in the table below.

Testing
The valve is tested as per ČSN 13 3060, part 2.
Installation
The valve can be installed into piping in any
position. Supply and removal of heating
medium must be connected on opposite sides
and it is necessary to provide reliable
condensate removal from the heating jacket.
Operation
The valve is operated by a wrench.
