Shut-off valve for chemical purposes, for
easily hardening media (tar, paraffin,
naphtalene) for the following service
pressures and temperatures:
Technical description
Flanged, straight-way valve with gland
packing. The valve is provided with
handwheel to improve control and prevent
seizure of sealing surfaces. The handwheel
enables lifting and lowering of the plug in
sealing surfaces. Opening or closing itself is
done by a double-arm lever which is fixed
firmly to stem end. The double-arm lever
serves also as a position indicator of open -
close position. External part of the valve body
is provided with a chamber for heating or
cooling of the valve. Heating chamber is
closed with a cover. The chamber is provided
with connecting flanges for supply or removal
of heating or cooling medium.
Connecting and face-to-face dimensions
Flange connecting dimensions as per
ČSN 13 1060 and ČSN 13 1061.
Body heating can be done by steam, hot water
or oil with working overpressure of 0,4 MPa,
max. service temperature of 350°C.

The valve is tested as per ČSN 13 3060, part 2. Installation
The valve can be installed into piping in any
position. Operation
The valve is operated by a lever.
