Application
Shut-off valve for aggressive liquids, vapours and gases depending on their type,
temperature and concentration for service pressures and temperatures.
Technical description
The ball valve is a two-way valve, which
closing element is a floating ball sealed by
two seats. The valve has "OPEN - CLOSE"
position stops. The flow is shut off by turning the lever or wing-handle through 90°to the
right. The valve can be secured in the open or closed position to prevent unwanted
operation.
Connecting and end-to-end dimensions
Basic end-to-end dimensions are given in the table below. Finish of the neck-ends as per
ČSN 13 1075, DIN 2559, or ČSN 13 1070.

Body stainless steel (42 2942, 1.4408)
Ball, pivot stainless steel (17 345, 13 Cr)
Seat PTFE Pivot sealing rubber (VITON)
Testing
The valve is tested as per ČSN 13 3060, part 2, DIN 3230-3.
Installation
The valve can be installed into vertical or
horizontal piping.
Operation
The valve can be operated by a one-arm lever or by electric or pneumatic actuator.
