Application
Shut-off valve used mainly for fuel gases
(natural gas, coal gas, propane-butane), air
and other non-aggressive fluids and gases for
maximum pressures and temperatures:
Maximum allowable size of mechanical
impurities is up to 30 µm, volume of
impurities up to 20 g/m3.
The valve is not suitable for flow regulation.
Technical description
The ball valve is a two-way valve, which
closing element is a floating ball sealed by
two seats. The valve has "OPEN - CLOSE"
position stops. The flow is shut off by turning
the spanner through 90° to the right.
Connecting and end-to-end dimensions
Flange connecting dimensions as per
ČSN 13 1060, DIN 2501. Flange faces as per
ČSN 13 1061, DIN 2526.
Basic end-to-end dimensions are given in the
table below.

Testing
The valve is tested as per ČSN 13 3060, part 2,
DIN 3230.
Installation
The valve must be installed into horizontal
piping with the actuation rig upright
perpendicular to the piping.
Operation
The valve is operated with a special spanner
via the underground actuation rig, or with
handwheel via worm gear box.
