Application
Shut-off valve. The KM 9101.1 version is for
use with water, non- aggressive liquids,
vapours and gases. The KM 9101.2 version is
for aggressive media depending on their type,
temperature and concentration, for service
pressures up to 6,3 MPa and temperatures up
to 200°C. Maximum allowable size of
mechanical impurities is up to 30 µm, volume
of impurities up to 20 g/m3. The valve is not
suitable for flow regulation.
Technical description
The ball valve is a two-way valve, which
closing element is a floating ball sealed by
two seats. The valve has "OPEN - CLOSE"
position stops. The flow is shut off by turning
the lever through 90° to the right.

Testing
The valve is tested as per DIN 3230.
Installation
The valve can be installed into vertical or
horizontal piping.
Operation
The valve is operated by a one-arm lever,
electric servomotor or pneumatic actuator.
