Application
Remote adjustable fitting used to facilitate
installation and removal of valves, or to
compensate for inaccuracies in the length of
pipe-line being installed. For use with non-
aggressive liquids, water, vapors and gases,
for service pressures and temperatures:
The installation fitting must not be used to
compensate for pipeline expansion. An
expansion joint should be used for this
purpose.
Technical description
A moveable part s inserted into the cast iron
body. Gland packing around the body
provides the seal. The face-to-face
dimensions can be set using stay bolts.

below.

Testing
The installation insert is tested as per
DIN 3230-3, ČSN 13 3060, part 2.
Installation
The installation insert can be installed in
horizontal or vertical pipe-line. When
installed vertically the moveable part should
be uppermost.
