surface at a covered depth of 1500mm. Rigs
for different depths can be supplied on special
request
Technical description
The rig consist of a protective sleeve, a cover,
an extension stem, a coupling and a base. It
protects the packing and extension stem from
being covered with soil and thus allows the
gate valve to be operated.

given in the table below.

Installation
The rig can be fitted to a gate valve placed
underground with the actuation gear pointing
vertically upwards.
Operation
The actuation rig is operated by a socket
wrench.
