Application
Shut-off valve for potable, industrial and sea
water, non-aggressive liquids, steam and
gases for service temperatures up to 150°C
and pressures depending on valve diameter as
per the following table
The gate is not suitable for flow regulation
Technical description
Oval gate valve with solid wedge has a non-
rotary rising stem with its thread outside valve
chamber The body and wedge sealing
surfaces are brazed brass, or are of base
material or pressed stainless steel rings. Stem
is sealed with gland packing in a bonnet.
Connecting and face-to-face dimensions
Face-to-face dimension per DIN 3202 F4.
Flange connection dimensions as per DIN
2501. Flange faces as per DIN 2526, Form C.
Basic face-to-face and connecting dimensions
are shown in the table.

Testing
The gate valve is tested per DIN 3230.
Installation
The gate valve can be only installed in
horizontal piping with actuation upwards.
Operation
The gate valve can be operated by handwheel
or from stand.
