Application
Shut-off valve for potable and service water,
for service pressures and temperatures:
The gate is not suitable for flow regulation
Technical description
The bonnet gate valve with rotary non-rising
stem with its thread inside valve chamber.
Flexible seating surfaces on wedge are
vulcanized with soft rubber. Stem is sealed
with O-ring.
Connecting and face-to-face dimensions
Face-to-face dimension per DIN 3202 F4, F5.
Flange connection dimensions as per DIN
2501. Flange faces as per DIN 2526, Form C.
Basic face-to-face and connecting dimensions
are shown in the table.

Body, bonnet, wedge grey cast iron (42 2425)
Stem stainless steel (13 Cr)
Wedge sealing surfaces rubber (EPDM)
Gland packing O-ring (EPDM)
Testing
The gate valve is tested per DIN 13 3060,
part 2.
Installation
The gate valve can be only installed in
horizontal piping with actuation upwards.
Operation
Gate valves installed underground can be
operated from above ground with an actuation
rig, handwheel or actuator.
