Operation
The gate valve can be operated by handwheel (ON 13 31111),
chainwheel (ON 13 3131), electric servomotor or from a stand
(ON 13 3140 and ON 13 3142).

Application
Shut-off valve for water, steam, and other
non- aggressive liquids and gases for service
pressures and temperatures:
DN 200 and DN 300 gate valves can be used
for temperatures up to 450°C. The gate valve
is not suitable for flow regulation.
Technical description
Yoke gate valve with rotary non-rising stem with its thread inside the valve chamber. Body
and wedge have stainless steel welded sealing surfaces. Stem is sealed with gland packing in
yoke.

Face-to-face dimension per ČSN EN 558,
DIN 3202 F5, F7.
Flange connection dimensions as per
ČSN 13 1060 and ČSN 13 1061, DIN 2501.
Basic face-to-face and connecting dimensions
are shown in the table.

Stem stainless steel (13 Cr)
Sealing surfaces weld deposit 13 Cr
Gland packing asbestos-free fibre (up to 250°C)
asbestos-free graphite (up to 450°C)
Testing
The gate valve is tested per ČSN 13 3060.
Installation
The gate valve can be installed in horizontal,
vertical or oblique piping. In case of
horizontal and oblique piping the actuation
must be upwards. For electrically actuated
valves, the axis of the electric motor must
remain horizontal (unless the regulations for
the el. actuator used specify otherwise).
