Operation
The gate valve can is operated by a handwheel (A type), for larger
sizes and pressures by a handwheel with gear (B type), by electric
servomotor or hydraulic actuator.

Technical description
The yoke gate valve has a rising non-rotating
stem. Guided wedge seals on one side only.
The other side of the wedge is beveled. Wedge
and seat sealing side is welded with stainless
hard alloy. Seat and wedge plate are
renewable. Stem nut is seated on axial ball
bearing.

Face-to-face dimension as per ČSN 13 1060
and ČSN 13 1061. Basic face-to-face and
connecting dimensions are shown in the table.

Testing
The gate valve is tested per ČSN 13 3060,
part 2.
Installation
The gate valve can be installed in horizontal,
vertical and oblique piping. In case of
installation in horizontal and oblique piping
valve actuation is upwards.
