Application
This valve can be used as a discharge element
in gas steam traps, for condensates deposited
during distribution of heating gases according
to ÈSN 385502, for pressures up to PN 40 and
temperatures from -10°C up to +40°C, in
special design for -50°C. Drain valve opens
and closes condensate flow from gas steam
traps during their discharge or pumping via
output screw coupling and a hose to a
pumping truck.
Connecting and face-to-face dimensions
Basic connecting and face-to-face dimensions
are given in the table below. Input flange with
a groove is for PN 40 according to
ÈSN 13 1060 and ÈSN 13 1061, with input
port thread G 1" according to ÈSN 01 4033
and 22 mm long. Output port is also provided
with G 1" thread, which is 20 mm long.
Installation
Before fixing the valve on a steam trap it is
necessary screw on a pipe into valve flange
opening. Pipe length, quality and design is
given by ÈSN 386410. Supply line and the
valve itself must be free of all impurities and
preservative substances.
