Globe valve with regulating disc, with butt-weld ends
V 40 121-563(100) , V 40 121-263(100) PN 63(100)

Installation
The valve can be installed in horizontal or vertical piping depending on the flow direction. Electrically actuated valves should be installed in horizontal piping with the actuator upwards above the valve. In other positions the actuator must be supported or attached to a hinge.

Operation
The valve is operated by handwheel (ON 13 3110), chainwheel
(ON 13 3130), electric servomotor (V 40 123…) or from a stand
(ON 13 3140 and ON 13 3142). Type of electric actuator and maximum pressure drop is selected by the supplier.

Application
Valve with regulating disc for water, steam, on
special request also for other non-aggressive
liquids and gases for temperatures up to 550°C
(depending on valve material) for service
pressures and temperatures:

Technical description
The valve is yoke-type. Regulating disc fits
into sealing surface welded into the body.
Stem is sealed with gland packing in the
bonnet. Flow direction from under the disc in
DN 65 valves, for DN 80 valves and larger the
flow direction is from above the disc and
internal bypass reduces pressure difference
before and after the closing element (pressure
drop).

Connecting and end-to-end dimensions
Butt-weld end finish as per ČSN 13 1075,
DIN 2559. End-to-end dimensions as per
ČSN 13 3051.
Basic connecting and end-to-end dimensions
are given in the table.
