Shut-off valve for chemical and food industry
for aggressive media (acids, lyes, abrasive
solids, sewage water etc. ) for service
pressures and temperatures:
Use is limited by type, temperature and
concentration of the service medium. The
valve is not suitable for pipelines with
pressure drop to vacuum.
Technical description
Rubber hose insert is inserted into valve body
with its ends creating sealing surfaces.
Closing is done by one-side compression of
the hose insert by a slide. The slide is moved
by rising rotating stem. Fluids can flow
through the valve in both directions.
Connecting and face-to-face dimensions
Flanged connection dimensions as per
ÈSN 13 1060, flange sealing surfaces are
created by a rubber hose insert. Basic
connecting and face-to-face dimensions are
given in the table below.

Testing
The valve is tested as per ÈSN 13 3060, part 2.
Installation
The valve can be installed in horizontal or
vertical piping.
Operation
The valve is operated by handwheel.
