Rubber-lined valve - VPR


Application
The valve is intended for closing and
regulation of abrasive liquids and turbid water
with max. temperature of 100°C and service
pressure up to 1.0 MPa. Chemical resistance
of the valve depends on service fluid. Use is
limited by type, temperature and
concentration of the service medium. The
valve is not suitable for pipelines with
pressure drop to vacuum.

Technical description
The valve consists of two connecting flanges,
a rubber insert, guiding strips and closing
mechanism with rising rotating stem.

Connecting and face-to-face dimensions
Flanged connection dimensions as per
ÈSN 13 1060, DIN 2501.
Sealing surfaces are formed by a rubber insert.
Face-to-face dimensions as per
ÈSN EN 558-1, line 1, DIN 3202 F1.
Basic connecting and face-to-face dimensions
are given in the table below.

Testing
The valve is tested as per ÈSN 13 3060, part 2,
DIN 3230-3.

Installation
The valve can be installed in horizontal or
vertical piping.

Operation
The valve is operated by handwheel,
chainwheel or from a stand.
